Dashboard Updates - April 8th, 2014 Mass Muting Plugins

Hey all! We’ve got some good news and a little bit of bad news. The good news is that we’ve got some really exciting stuff coming your way. The bad news is we’ll have to incur a little downtime in order to bring it to you. Expect the Watchman Monitoring server to be unavailable today around 8pm CST (2am GMT) for about 2 hours. Here’s a hint of what’s to come:

Leave a comment with what you see different.

An update - a renaming of fields on the database servers is taking longer than expected.

All is well, and of course we wish the downtime weren’t as long as its been. The improvements should be worth it, and pave the way for future improvements.

Thank you for your patience!

Hi all - clearly the server upgrade wasn’t as fun as expected. An update to a table had the server copying a 16gb table to a 10gb boot volume - which is not ideal.

Our server’s “Watchman Monitoring” is Rightscale.com and is pretty good at letting us know what’s up.

We moved the database to another host, ran the needed upgrades and copied the data back. We’re close to getting the server happy again, and will update again when possible.

We’re back online. We are grateful for your patience, even if imposed.

Machines will start to report in shortly, and please don’t hesitate to reach out wich any problems you encounter.

In the meantime, enjoy the new issues-focued list, search capabilities, and ability to mass-mute plugins.
