We’ve turned this forum into more of a true mailing list by default.

##What we did:
Daily digests were enabled by default. For every user who still had not disabled them, we’ve moved you to mailing list mode. If you disabled digests, we assume you knew what you wanted and left things alone.
##What changed?
In your preferences, we set these options to be true:
√ Send me an email for every new post (unless I mute the topic or category)
√ Do not suppress email notifications when I am active on the site
Now, you’ll receive each email within minutes of its posting, and you can contribute to the forum by simply hitting reply.
You know, just like a normal mailing list. 
##Why did we do it?
We felt that the digest mode wasn’t clear, and that it left the following questions:
- What all was said?
- Where’s the rest of the message?
- Can’t I just reply?
- When do I get these digests?
- Why didn’t I hear about this before?
We hope that the normal “Mailing list mode” answers these all.
##What if I like getting the emails, but not in my inbox?
Every email’s subject line starts with [Watchman-Community], you are encouraged to make a related mail filter.
##What if I don’t want every email?
There are two solutions:
First, visit your Preferences Page and disable:
Send me an email for every new post (unless I mute the topic or category)
Do not suppress email notifications when I am active on the site
Then, either add the Announcements category to your Watched list:
